March 2005 - Kalmetiya Fisheries Cooperative, Hambantota District.
GOAL is providing materials and paying for the labour to repair and replace canoes and boats throughout the three districts they work in. The canoes in this picture were repaired and repainted by their owners. Taking an holistic approach to the regeneration issue GOAL is also distributing nets to the cooperative and funding the repair of engines.
