May 2005 - A Sri Lankan fishing family outside their new GOAL built
temporary shelter in Kirinda, Hambantota District. As part of the economic
regeneration of the area GOAL also supplied the family with fishing
nets, funded the repair of their boat and reestablished their livelihood.
GOAL is the leading agency for temporary shelter construction in Hambantota
District and is constructing 300 shelter units benefiting approximately
1,200 people. |
