I asked friends and colleagues to select one of my images, from memory, and to respond to it either with a written piece of by making a piece of art inspired by it. The results were exhibited together.
This hand made book is a limited edition of 100 copies and is A4 landscape in format.
It is completely hand made by Padraig Grant. The covers are 1.5mm greyboard covered with a wine coloured Buckram material. It is printed on Epson Matte Photo Paper Heavyweight using Epson Ultrachrome K3 inks for archival permanence.
There are a number of copies still remaining and it is made to order for €145.00
The Beach, Day (2010)
The Beach, Day is a limited edition, hard back, large format A3 landscape collection of 65 black and white and colour photographs of County Wexford's remarkable coastline. These beautiful photographs were made in Courtown in the north to Bannow Bay in the south west and all points in between.....Curracloe, Hook Head, Carnsore Point, Ardcavan, Ballinoulart, Morriscastle, Kilmore Quay, Cahore and the especially ancient Dollar Bay.
